Just plan cold!!!

Naomee at the first soccer game on Monday.
It was just too cold to do anything else.Just before the game was over Madie became to cold to just lay around on the ground.

Second game on Wednesday was better, not as cold.
This is Madie's time off the field was spent playing in the mud!

This is what we do when we are not on the field.

This is Madie's first game of the Spring season. It was VERY cold and started to rain on us. But the kids didn't seem to care too much. There are so many kids on Madie's team that they rotate kids out and in to keep it fair. This happens to be an out time. Madie ended up scoring 3 consecutive goals in the first game. I think just one in the second game, but I am not sure.

What happened to Spring!!!!

April 18th one week after a record high we have a record low.
What kind of crazy world do we live in? I mean we went to the zoo one week ago.

Cadie decided to go to a friends house, but Shawn came home from work early. It was just too nice of a day to pass up an outing. It was the perfect weather. But unfortunately it won't last.
When will Summer come, apparently we are just skipping Spring.

Happy Birthday Shawn. On Friday Naomee and I took Shawn out for lunch, then we all went to a movie ( Nim's Island). Saturday we had our Soccer game. Fun for us, We won! Good game. Sunday we had Shawn's brother over for dinner. We would have on Saturday, but Josh and Chanda don't like Salmon, which is what Shawn wanted for his birthday dinner. So we had teriaky chicken. Great weekend!!
