Madie, Morgan and Me

This is our entire group, Morgan and Madie. It was so nice to have just 2 kids to keep track of.

I got asked to come with Madie's 1st grade Zoo trip. I was a bit nervous to have 4-5 kids at the zoo on a field trip day. But the teacher was able to get more than enough volunteers to help. The biggest group had 3 kids in it. I was so relieved. We were able to see almost every single animal. June 5th 2008

I got asked to be a chaperon for Cadie's 4th grade fieldtrip to OMSI. It was pretty fun. These kids were very smart and VERY curious. June 4th 2008

Eowyn! Almost 6 months old.

She is a really happy baby. She will be 6 months on Monday the 9th. Can you believe that?

Madie's Birthday Cake!

Madie, my sweet little girl, just turned 7. Can you believe that she is getting so big? I can't believe the girls are growing up too fast for me. Madie wanted a white cake with pink frosting. We will do her party June 14th, so she has some time to wait, but it will be better weather hopefully.

What has Naomee been up to?

Naomee decided that she can make her own sandwich.

She also thinks she climb the tree just like her sisters.

Lots has been happening lately with the other girls so I thought I would show off what Naomee is doing.

There they go again! She was in heaven.

Madie is the only one who wants to ride on the motorcycle. The other girls sit on it when it is parked, but Madie is my little "Dare Devil." Shawn says she hangs on really tight so I am not as worried as I was the first time they went for a ride. Shawn is so excited to have her go with him and she is always asking for a ride. He decided since she loves it so much he bought her a special helmet. He didn't want her to continue to wear her ski helmet.

He is a natural, I was afraid, since he has never owned one before.

He looks pretty good on it too.

I didn't want him to get this bike, or any motorcycle, for that matter. I don't feel comfortable with the whole idea. But unfortunately I gave in. I got tired of hearing of the benefits and how much he wanted it. I guess I am just a push over.

Sprinkler fun!

We bought this fun sprinkler and the girls got 2 uses out of it and it broke.

It's cold, but I am not getting out until I am a popsicle.

But I guess that was ok, because we haven't had but one more day of sun since it broke.

Hair Cut!

It got to be time to trim her hair. I have been looking at old pictures of her hair and it has grown so much over the last year that I can't even keep up. It grows really fast too.
